"A Pure Food Cook Book"

Recipes By Mrs. Mary J. Lincoln, Mrs. Sarah Tyson Rorer, Mrs. Helen Armstrong, Lida Ames Willis, Mamon Harland

Editor's Notes: This whole book was sponsored by Cottolene, which appears to be a long-since out-of-business shortening product made of beef tallow and cottonseed oil. Several edits have been made to de-brand and render these recipes usable without remembering what a Cottolene is supposed to be.

There are several pages worth of Cottolene propaganda and advertising in the front. In the back are several other brand mentions; Gold Dust Washing Powder, Fairy Soap, Sunny Monday Laundry Soap, and Polly Prim Kitchen Cleaner.

The original was printed entirely black and white, with the only illustrations being attached to the advertisements. Goblins will be forthcoming.

Edited and Adapted by Jack Verdis

This book was originally published in 1910, and sold for fifty cents at the time. It is therefore in the public domain, having been published over 95 years ago, and only minor edits have been made for readability and comprehension; most of which was brand removal.
