Creamy Eggnog

Separate eggs. Put egg whites in a large bowl and set aside. In a different large bowl, beat yolks and slowly stir in 3 cups of sugar. Slowly add whiskey into the yolk mixture, then milk and cream, continuing to stir for about two minutes after. Whip the egg whites until stiff; add 1/2 cup of sugar and stir. Put together the two mixtures and stir. Fold in Cool Whip until at the desired creaminess. Chill until ready to serve, present with a pinch of nutmeg on top.
