Meatloaf
Grandma's favorite meatloaf, only famous due to the number of stray kids that have been fed a serving
Required Ingredients
- 2 lbs ground beef
- 12-15 crushed Club crackers or other buttery snack crackers
- 2 eggs
- 1 cup or slightly less of milk
- 1 cup ketchup
- salt
- 1 sweet onion, chopped finely
Optional Ingredients
- 1 tablespoon Worcesterchire sauce
- mustard powder, to taste
- black pepper, to taste
- Extra ketchup for garnish
- Reserved onion rings for garnish
Process
- Mix everything together except optional garnish until a uniform texture
- Put into a large loaf pan or form into a solid lump inside a larger casserole dish; add optional garnish ketchup and/or onions
- Bake at 350 F for about an hour, pour grease off before serving. Goes well with baked beans and mashed potatoes.
