Goop
This might have originally been goulash. Maybe. Who knows. It's also known as Glop, depending on who you ask. An easy to make staple.
Required Ingredients
- Elbow macaroni, decent sized box
- Ground beef, 1 lb or less (feel free to split the pound with another recipe that calls for this)
- White mushrooms, standard grocery store container, pre-sliced or not.
- Canned diced tomatoes, 2 10oz cans, drained.
- Salt, pepper, garlic powder, to taste.
Optional Ingredients
- yellow onion, diced bite size
- Cheese
Process
- Prepare the elbow macaroni as instructed on the package. Let it do its thing while going through the next steps.
- Brown, drain, and set aside the ground beef.
- Slice and cook until soft and brown the mushrooms, and optional onion.
- After the noodles are done and drained, add them back into the cooking pot they were in. Don't bother putting it back on the heat. Also add to this pot everything else except optional cheese. Stir well.
- Serve generously. Some heathens may choose to add cheese.
