Flubber
THIS IS NOT EDIBLE!!!!!!!!!!!!!
This is a science recipe to create a rubbery slime. Flubber is a polymer, where long chains are formed of repeating molecular units. This particular slime has the properties of both a liquid and a solid. If stretched slowly, it will form long strands, but if pulled quickly, it will break.
Container 1
- 3/4 cup warm water
- 1 cup white craft glue
- a few drops of food coloring, any color
Container 2
- 2/3 cup warm water
- 1 1/2 teaspoon Borax
Process
- Mix the ingredients in each container thoroughly
- Pour container 2 into container 1. Gently lift and turn the mixture until only about a tablespoon of liquid is left. The Flubber will be sticky for a moment or two.
- Let the excess liquid drip off, and the Flubber will be ready!
