Spiders In My Bowl

Originally created to keep pace with "Spiders in My Bowl" by S. J. Tucker.

a goblin, who will furthermore be referred to as "Eepi" stands on the right side of the screen, eyes closed, ears drooping. They are wearing purple pajamas with star print, and clearly very sleepy. There is a spider on the wall above them.

-*-.-*-.-*-.-*-.-*-

Eepi is now walking slowly towards the left, yawning. The spider is still on the wall, now descending on a faint line of thread.

-*-.-*-.-*-.-*-.-*-

Eepi has arrived at a kitchenette, stretching. The kitchenette has wooden cabinets and a fridge; the fridge has many colorful drawings and magnets. The spider is on the wall next to the upper cabinet.

-*-.-*-.-*-.-*-.-*-

Eepi is on tiptoes, reaching up to grab an orange box from inside the upper cabinet. The spider is on top of the cabinet door.

-*-.-*-.-*-.-*-.-*-

The orange cereal box is now on the counter; it reads "Soup Loops". The spider is descending from the upper cabinet, next to the cereal box. Eepi has their head inside the fridge.

-*-.-*-.-*-.-*-.-*-

The cereal box has been joined by a cardboard milk carton labelled "Moo Juice". Eepi is kneeling with their head in the lower cabinet, under the counter.

-*-.-*-.-*-.-*-.-*-

Eepi, who has finally cracked one eye to see something of what is going on, is walking away from the kitchen, clutching the cereal box, milk carton, and also a bowl and spoon. The spider is riding on the inside of the bowl, which is facing towards the viewer and away from the goblin.

-*-.-*-.-*-.-*-.-*-

Eepi has arrived at a table with a spotted tablecloth and one chair, and has haphazardly thrown their armful of things up onto it, including the spider.

-*-.-*-.-*-.-*-.-*-

Both eyes closed again, Eepi is climbing into the chair at the table (both seem a bit large for them). The thrown objects have settled on the table, and the spider is crawling across the milk carton, which is laying on its side.

-*-.-*-.-*-.-*-.-*-

One eye cracked again for visibility, Eepi has managed to set their bowl upright, and is reaching across the table for the cereal; they can only just grab it. The spider has descended to the tablecloth, on the side facing the viewer and out of sight of the goblin.

-*-.-*-.-*-.-*-.-*-

Eepi has successfully grabbed the box of Soup Loops and is pouring a pile of orange, red, green, and gold loops into their bowl. The spider is hanging from a strand of silk under the table.

-*-.-*-.-*-.-*-.-*-

The cereal box stands upright, and Eepi is now reaching for the milk carton. The spider is working its way across the table on the outside of the tablecloth, but still just out of sight.

-*-.-*-.-*-.-*-.-*-

Eepi is pouring milk in their bowl on top of the cereal. The spider is creeping over the edge of the table, but has not yet been noticed.

-*-.-*-.-*-.-*-.-*-

A close-up of Eepi and their bowl of cereal, head-on with the edge of the table in view. They look very tired, and are dipping the spoon into the bowl with both eyes closed. The spider is climbing up the bowl on the viewer's side of it; it is very large up close.

-*-.-*-.-*-.-*-.-*-

Eepi has cracked one eye and is about to take a bite of cereal. The spider is on the spoon.

-*-.-*-.-*-.-*-.-*-

Eepi has finally noticed the spider. Their mouth has clamped shut, and both eyes are open horrifyingly wide, showing veins as well as fatigue shadows. The spoon has not (yet) moved.

-*-.-*-.-*-.-*-.-*-

The table-and-chair scene appears again, this time in a state of utter pandemonium. There is no sign of Eepi, but the tablecloth has been pulled most of the way off, and the chair is knocked over. The milk is on its side, still open, and is dripping down the tablecloth and onto the floor. The cereal has been knocked all the way off the table, and Soup Loops are scattered on the floor around it. There is a very large splatter of milk and cereal loops on the wall, and a smaller splat on the floor next to the bowl, which is now cracked and on its side, as if it had been thrown at the wall and rolled down the disturbed tablecloth. The spider is chilling on the wall in the middle of the chaos.
