Jack's Personal Music Selections

Curated from the personal library of Jack Verdis, monarch and creator of this branch of Goblin-kind.

You will forgive me for not believing in Spotify or other subscription services. This is a list of some of my top favorite musicians! I've supported and purchased albums from every one (in many cases, entire discographies), but visitors are welcome to tailor this usage to their own interests and capabilities.

Absolutely no permission was obtained from any of these people. If anyone would like to contact me about that, feel free.

A folksy sort of rock star, fond of acoustic guitars and gratuitous loop pedal. A personal favorite, who I can only hope will make it big on country radio someday when the concept of country radio gets its shit together.

S.J. Tucker

Witch rock and fairy tales. Also plays with the band Tricky Pixie. A delightful person, who I have every intention of borrowing lyrics from to practice narrative illustration.

Musketeer rock, primarily in German. I don't speak German and have no idea what is going on, but the boys are pretty and the music is delightful. Proof I'm a bad millenial who has no idea how to use online nonsense: managed to get my entire Amazon experience in German while buying CDs and had to have a friend fix it.

The Longest Johns

Pirate shanties and other working songs, made entertaining rather than monotonous. Excellent stuff for workout rhythms, hiking, walking, or just being in a pirate sort of mood.
