Words of Wisdom
(at least according to goblins)
All of this is real world lessons that should be useful in some way or another, not just a fully goblin-ized manifesto of chaos. However, it does not contain anything particularly to do with manners or higher powers, as such things are beyond the scope of goblins and doodles of them. These snippets are largely original, but do contain some, usually altered and uncredited, quotes.
Eventually, the goal is to have these illustrated. Several are done; some of the line arts are featured on social media.
- When dealing with a self-centered person, it is okay to also be self-centered a little bit, and only deal with them when you're able to handle it.
- Love is only love when it's reciprocated. Otherwise it's just infatuation.
- When in trouble
or in doubt
run in circles
scream and shout
- Be aware of what's going on around you. Adventurers lurk around every corner, and their intentions could be anything.
- In a buffet setting of snacks, it is polite to use a new plate for each visit, only take what you are able to eat, and take reasonable portions at a time so that everyone gets a chance to share.
- If you bring Diet Coke to the party, then there will be Diet Coke at the party.
- Patterns can be found in many places. Not all of them connect.
- Our differences are what make us unique, but remember to account for them.
- A fortune cookie that is empty is unfortunate.
- Working smarter and not harder is useful, but sometimes brute force is an answer.
- Take naps.
- Hydrate!
- Perfection, even if it is attainable, is not sustainable.
- Clothing can be washed.
- An item thrifted is an item that is strong enough to have survived at least one owner, and is less of a loss if it doesn't survive another.
- Know your own limits, and follow them.
- The number one rule is to have fun. This is most easily done when no one is unhappy or in pain.
- It's okay to stop doing something if it's not worth finishing.
- Not all family is assigned at birth. Not everyone assigned at birth needs to stay family.
- Love fast, love hard, and love often, but remember that love and trust are not the same thing.
- Children are people, too; just smaller and in need of more help.
- Know the difference between surviving, living, and thriving, and choose the one that's most attainable.
- If you feel like everyone hates you, sleep.
- If you feel like you hate everyone else, eat.
- If you feel like you hate yourself, bathe.
- If there is no hate, only indifference, reach out to a friend.
- Take care of yourself first, or you won't be able to take care of anyone else.
- Feel emotions. Process them, and let them pass in their own time.
- Bad therapy is worse than no therapy, but good therapy is worth more than a life.
- Bad relationships are worse than no relationships. Only choose someone that makes life better than it could be alone.
- Sticks are incredibly useful

- Keep what you need, share what you can, and take what is offered.
- Everything can be fixed, but it will never be exactly the same - it needed fixed for a reason.
- Native plants need less care. Find an environment that is kind to you.
- Plan for down time
- Games come with a goal and a rule book. If either is not provided, that's not a game.
- Love the things you share your space with
- Age matters most for whiskey and cheese; not so much people.
- Smile while you still have teeth (and still keep smiling after)
- Life is short. Buy the shoes, take the trip, eat the cake, sleep with the guitar player.
- Life needs dreams. Keep sleeping.
- If you don't have wrinkles, you haven't laughed enough.
- Bad decisions make good stories.
- If you think you are too small to matter, you have never been in a small room with an angry wasp.
- If no one time travels back to stop you from doing the thing, how bad could it possibly be?
- Do it now or you'll forget it later.
- Follow your heart, but take your brain with you.
- Food is essential to life. Therefore, make it good.
- If plan A fails, there are 25 more letters in the alphabet, and a lot of fun squiggles to draw besides.
- Don't take anything too seriously.
- The key to success is probably in the couch cushions somewhere. (I'll keep looking)
- If you want the best seat in the house, you'll have to move the cat.
- Better a man with half a dick than some dick who's half a man.
- Always commit to the bit.
- Soup is a potion.
- There are so many colors in the rainbow, so many colors in the morning sun
So many colors in a flower, so let's use every one

- Too much is usually better than not enough.
- Use it up, wear it out, make it do, or do without.

- Make sure to know yourself and show yourself, not just the mask.
- Those who mind don't matter, and those who matter don't mind.
- Dance like no one is watching.
- A listening ear and a helping hand are the best things to share in times of grief. That, or snacks.
No ads, ever. Clean, simple, accessible, and above all, full of goblin energy. Thanks for visiting!
